It has started ...

The tournament has "started". I will wait for Thursday to REALLY claim it has started but, there's some basketball on.

The Monkey has made his picks and they will be posted here soon. For those who have never played here before, I thought I would describe the contest.

• There is no fee
• There is no award
• There is a Hall of Fame
• There is a Hall of Shame

The Hall of Fame consists of the Top 5 scorers (w/ties) in each year. The Hall of Shame is a little harder to explain.

Here at The Monkey Madness, we have an expert prognosticator, Madness Monkey. He uses the very latest in coin-flipping technology to make his picks; that's it. His half-wit brother Homer has an equally simple, yet vastly more successful method. He simply picks the higher seed in every game.

Those are the barometers ... judge yourself against them. I will warn you that Madness HAS selected the winner before and his picks this year aren't too crazy. For those who don't believe or trust the coin-flip, we don't care.
